Operations Team Intern
As an Operations Team Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the internal workflows that power M11 Group’s fund operations, investor relations, regulatory compliance, and portfolio oversight. You’ll be immersed in the inner workings of a high-velocity VC fund operating at the intersection of finance and frontier technology.

M11 Group (www.m11group.org) is a global blockchain and crypto-native investment firm that originates from Maven 11, a leading venture capital investor in the crypto ecosystem since 2017. Since inception, the group expanded their activities to asset management, credit underwriting and DeFi market making.
M11 Group operates from offices in Amsterdam, the Cayman Islands, and Jersey, with a team of 30 people. The firm is regulated in both Europe and the Cayman Islands and adheres to all relevant financial regulations in these jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with the highest standards.
About the job (& the challenge)
As an Operations Team Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the internal workflows that power M11 Group’s fund operations, investor relations, regulatory compliance, and portfolio oversight. You’ll be immersed in the inner workings of a high-velocity VC fund operating at the intersection of finance and frontier technology.
You will be working on:
The focus of this role is on providing crucial support within the operational pillars of the fund. This encompasses a broad range of tasks, varying from facilitating smooth Fund & Investor Operations to assisting with Regulatory & Compliance Workflows. Additionally, the role contributes to Portfolio & Token Operations, and there is a strong emphasis on cross-team collaboration to realize operational projects. Finally, the function includes conducting Research & Ad Hoc Analyses to support strategic decisions and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Fund & Investor Operations: Assist with onboarding investors, managing KYC/AML processes, organizing fund documentation, and coordinating capital flows.
- Assist Regulatory & Compliance Workflows: Help maintain internal compliance tools (like RegLab), conduct sanctions screening, and contribute to due diligence and risk assessments.
- Contribute to Portfolio & Token Operations: Track token activity, gather portfolio data, and monitor key metrics across DeFi projects and DAOs.
- Collaborate Across Teams on Operational Projects: Work with legal, investment, and back-office teams to enhance fund workflows, internal processes, and reporting systems.
- Conduct Research & Ad Hoc Analysis: Support strategic initiatives, compliance reviews, or ecosystem research related to the fund’s investment focus.
What We Expect From You:
- A completed Bachelor's degree in a financial field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Accountancy).
- A strong interest in the financial sector and the specific activities of our company.
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts and markets.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to process data.
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A professional attitude and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office (especially Sheets/Excel).
