DeFi & Business Operations Intern

We are seeking a motivated intern to support the operational and analytical backbone of our digital asset credit activities. This role focuses on DeFi operations, reporting, and coordination across borrowers, lenders, and internal teams. You will work closely with the M11 Credit team on loan and vault operations, data and performance monitoring, and client-facing processes that support institutional digital asset lending.

About the job

M11 Credit operates at the intersection of credit markets and decentralized finance in a fast-evolving regulatory and technological environment. We are looking for a DeFi & Business Operations Intern to support the operational, analytical, and LP-facing functions behind our lending and vault activities.

This role combines DeFi operations, data & reporting, and client coordination, offering hands-on exposure to institutional digital asset credit.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operational management of loans and DeFi vaults curated by M11 Credit, gaining exposure to digital asset credit workflows
  • Assist with execution flows between borrowers, lenders, and external partners, understanding how institutional transactions are coordinated
  • Build and maintain reporting, monitoring, and performance tracking tools using on-chain and off-chain data
  • Contribute to data pipelines and backend setups used for risk and operational monitoring
  • Support onboarding and provide responsive support to borrowers and lenders, learning how institutional client relationships are managed
  • Help prepare activity updates and external communications, translating complex DeFi activity into clear information
  • Monitor DeFi and digital asset market developments and share actionable insights with the team
  • Contribute to credit risk analysis and deal structuring processes in a digital asset lending environment
  • Work directly with DeFi smart contracts, vault operations, CeFi and non-custodial setups
  • Relationship and business development with asset managers, protocols, and foundations

Requirements

  • Above average interest in and knowledge of (operations in) fintech, financial services, investment banking, consulting or asset management
  • A passion for Crypto/Blockchain/DeFi and its potential applications for the future of finance
  • Experience taking qualitative or quantitative insights from research or data and turning them into actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to organise, plan and prioritise to deliver a complex project
  • Accountable with a strong sense of ownership and who thrives under pressure
  • Team player with strong coordination skills
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially aware mindset
  • Clear, concise communicator
  • Based in Amsterdam (on-site role)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Duration and salary

  • 6 months
  • Monthly internship allowance of €650 gross
